The University of Belgrade is the oldest and one of the most prestigious institutions of higher learning in South Eastern Europe. It consistently features on the Shangai list of 500 best international universities. The Faculty has founded in 1937 as a School of Commerce. Over the years it has served as a spring-board for development of Higher education in the area of Economics in Serbia and the Former Yugoslavia. It features modern facilities, including computer labs with smart boards, fully licenced software, etc.

Belgrade is the city of around 1.7 million people and the capital of Serbia. It is a historic city in the heart of Europe. It is an increasingly popular tourist destination, especially for young people.

Headshot photo The Faculty is located just minutes away from the confluence of Sava and Danube rivers and the Belgrade waterfront, in the increasingly fashionable old part of town. It is, also, a short walking distance away from the famed Kalemegdan Fortress where Romans, Turks and Austrians left their marks over the centuries.

In Belgrade people enjoy relaxing and having fun. Luckily, life is still quite affordable, despite increasing numbers of visitors. Also, according to many foreigners living in this city, this is one of very few places in Europe where people could not care less where you are coming from. If we like you, you become one of us!
