Galjina Ognjanov is associate professor at the Faculty of Economics, University of Belgrade. She teaches undergraduate courses Marketing Communications and Public Relations as well as graduate courses Integrated Marketing Communications, Public relations management and Business Negotiations. Since 2010, she has also served as a visiting professor at Universite Paul Verlaine Metz (University of Lorraine), France, teaching graduate course Marketing Diagnostics and Product Life Cycle for three consecutive years.
Her research interests include integrated marketing communication, advertising research and food consumption in emerging economies. She has published three textbooks, a number of papers in scientific journals and contributed to scientific monographs published both in Serbian and in English. She has worked as a researcher and/or consultant on a number of projects initiated and/or supported by international organizations and institutions, including United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), International Labour Organization (ILO), European Commission (EC) and United States Agency for International Development (USAID). She is a member of several scientific and professional associations in Serbia and internationally, including Serbian Marketing Association (SEMA), Public Relations Society of Serbia (PRSS), International Advertising Association – Belgrade Chapter and European Marketing Academy (EMAC). Since 2011 she has been serving as EMAC national representative for Serbia.
