CEROVIC Bozidar, PhD, Full Professor

Born in Belgrade in 1947. Graduated in 1970 from Belgrade Economics Faculty, where he received the MSc (1976) and PhD (1979) title. First employed with Institute for Economics of Investments, Belgrade in 1970. Has been working with the Faculty of Economics since 1971, passing all teaching positions. Elected Full Professor in 1992. Vice dean (1996-98; 2000-02) and Dean (2002-04).

Subjects: Political economy (1971-1979, Teaching Assistant), Microeconomic analysis (1980-1990, Assistant Professor and Associate Professor), Theory of production (since 1990) and Economics of transition (since 1992).

Other activities: Full Member of Scientific Society of Yugoslav Economists and Member of the Board (since 1997). Member of editorial boards of scientific journals Economic Thought and Economic Annals. Head of various projects concerning economic policy, privatisation and transition policies. Co-chair of Central Eastern European University Network (CEEUN), general secretary of Association of SE Europe Economic Universities (ASECU), member of Executive Committee of European Association for Comparative Economics Studies (EACES) and has published papers in England, France, Italy , Greece , Russia , Slovenia etc. Also teaches at graduate courses subjects concerning privatisation and transition. Speaks English and French and some Spanish and Russian (also understands some Italian).
