International Masters in Quantitative Finance (IMQF)
What is IMQF?
International Masters in Quantitative Finance (IMQF) is a one-year master program in advanced finance. Taught in English by internationally renowned faculty, for the past 15 years it has steadily built the reputation as one of the most innovative finance programs in Europe. Our graduates are in high demand both domestically and internationally. At present, they work in more than 40 countries.
The program provides a thorough grounding in quantitative skills, economics, and key areas of modern finance. As a result, our graduates are highy successful when taking professional certifications such as CFA, PRM, or FRM.
But, one of the trully unique features of the IMQF program is the innovative way in which training in advanced finance is seamlessly integrated with learning how to program in Wolfram Language (Mathematica) . Trained to think algorithmically and integrate work with data, symbolic calculations and simulations our graduates are ready to meet challenges that arise in the rapidly changing world of modern finance.
The IMQF Principles
We firmly believe that at the core of any sustainable success must be an ethical approach to life. But, good intentions and even raw inteligence and often not enough. One needs to learn, also, how to apply oneself tenaciously. Having said that, working hard would not lead to satisfactory results without a spark of creavity, analytical rigor as well as understanding of the practical realities of the world. It is the combination of all of these qualities that holds a promise of polishing capable young people into gems that would become financial leaders of tomorrow. This is what we aim to achieve.
Another distinguishing feature of the program is that it is well balanced in terms of male-female participation. In fact, over the years, women made up slightly more than 50 per cent of all IMQF participants. This is quite unique for a program of this type and is something that we are very proud of. Needless to say, IMQF is open to people of all races, nationalities, sexual orientations, and political views.
